About us: Hanmer Holiday Homes, located in the beautiful village of Hanmer Springs, is a busy property management company that has been around since the late 1990’s. Each year we welcome over 10,000 families, couples, or groups to our approximately 170+ holiday homes in Hanmer Springs. We focus on creating lasting memories for our staff, guests, and homeowners.
What we’re looking for: We’re on the hunt for a Marketing Manager extraordinaire who can lead the charge in our quest for marketing greatness. You’ll be the mastermind behind the brand’s voice, the architect of our campaigns, and the driving force behind our success. This full-time position is based out of our office in Hanmer Springs, but we are open to remote working with 1 or 2 days in the office if that works for you.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
- Develop creative and eye-catching promotional materials using design software like Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop to craft artwork and imagery for marketing such as brand collateral, signage, print media, billboards, social media, and other offline channels.
- Design and deliver Hanmer Holiday Homes compendium displayed in our holiday homes.
Digital Marketing:
- Manage social media, including content creation, copywriting, posting updates, giveaways, engaging with followers, and replying to DM’s to drive bookings and growth across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter).
- Design, create, and deliver engaging EDM’s.
- Create and manage digital marketing campaigns on Google Ads.
- Update Hanmer Holiday Homes website.
Promotional Campaigns and Events
- Manage and provide support for marketing events and activations including attending them if needed.
Copywriting:
- Write holiday home descriptions that are displayed on our website.
- Write website blog content.
Photography:
- Regularly refresh photos and imagery of our holiday homes as needed.
Reporting:
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
- Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development.
- Create and send out surveys, then report on them.
Other:
- Manage and maintain third party website information (OTA’s) to ensure quality of presentation and accuracy of information.
- Maintain and build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
- Sponsorship management.
- Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a monthly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely.
Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field
- Previous marketing experience, at least 3 + years
- Expertise with design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Experience with social media, content creation, photo/video editing, Google Ads and Google Analytics management.
- Positive and proactive attitude with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Well-organised, time-efficient, creative thinker with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to commit to and demonstrate the company core values.
- Hold a valid NZ drivers license to commute to the various holiday homes across Hanmer Springs.
