Hanmer Holiday Homes is looking for a full-time energetic individual to join our great team as a housekeeper in the beautiful village of Hanmer Springs. You must be able to work weekends and will be paid $22-$24 per hour depending on experience.

Hanmer Holiday Homes has managed holiday homes since the late 1990’s. Each year we welcome over 10,000 families, couples, or groups to our approximately 180 holiday homes in Hanmer Springs.

The key responsibilities of this role are: -

  • Checking home security and ensuring all precautions have been taken to minimise risk of security breaches.
  • Checking supplies in homes and replenishing where required.
  • Checking wheelie bins and recycling bins and advising if needing emptied.
  • Cleaning of homes to a high standard.
  • Delivery of linen to properties.
  • Bedmaking in properties.
  • Completing all administration and paperwork relating to each home.
  • Accurate computer data inputting of servicing.
  • Maintaining standards within the work environment to comply with health & safety regulations.
  • Other duties as instructed from time to time by management.

Hanmer Holiday Homes has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Servicing Supervisor with a keen eye for detail to lead our Servicing Team.

Hanmer Holiday Homes, located in the beautiful village of Hanmer Springs, is a busy property management company with approximately 180 homes that we provide property management services to including management, cleaning/servicing and maintenance etc.

The role of Full Time Servicing Supervisor is busy, and no day is the same. As Servicing Supervisor, you will lead by example and promote good working relationships within the team of 13 Servicing Team Members. You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Servicing Department ensuring the highest possible standards of service in our Holiday Homes are maintained.

As our Servicing Supervisor you will be responsible for:-

  • Allocation of daily tasks to Servicing Team Members
  • Maintaining appropriate stock levels of home supplies, linen and servicing team needs
  • Ensuring systems for security, cleaning and reporting are adhered to and improved where necessary
  • Establishing Q&A systems within the servicing department
  • Assisting the Servicing Team to achieve outcomes at times of peak labour demand
  • Executing lost property procedures in a timely manner
  • Ensuring work order requests for the Servicing Team are executed in a timely manner
  • Ensuring laundry is washed and returned to properties in a timely manner
  • Completing all administration and paperwork relating to the department
  • Conducting daily toolbox meetings with the Servicing Team
  • Maintaining standards within the work environment to comply with health regulations
  • Ensure accident/incident reporting and investigation is thorough
  • Maintain the accidents register for the department
  • Other duties as instructed from time to time

Further requirements:

  • Clean full NZ driver's license
  • Eligible to work in NZ on a full-time basis and live in or around beautiful Hanmer Springs
  • This role is full time, five days per week Monday through to Friday, but may require some weekend work from time to time depending on demand
