You have decided to rent out your Hanmer Springs property. Besides cleaning it, what else do you need to do to ensure that it is ready for new tenants?
A property must meet all legal requirements before it can be rented.
- Make sure the property is in a resonable condition
- Meet all relevant building and health and safety standards

- All maintenance and repairs to the home are completed before tenants move in

- Organise landlord insurance
- Decide on furnished or unfurnished
- Decide DIY or engage with a property manager
On top of meeting the above before it can be rented. You must also:
- Advise potential tenants if the property is going to be sold
